Next week we are at Photon16: The University of Leeds

Next week Elliot Scientific will be exhibiting at Photon16, the largest optics and photonics conference in the UK and the eighth in the series of these biennial events.

This year Photon16 will be held at the University of Leeds, and includes a Women in Optics workshop, an Industry and Technology Programme (ITP) and dozens of speakers at various conferences taking place at the event.

Elliot Scientific is located on Table 34 from September 6th and 7th throughout the exhibition days of the conference.

EXFO LTB-1EXFO’s new LTK-1 Benchtop Optical Power Meter offers:

  • High-performance optical power meter
  • 85 dB range
  • Choice of 1, 2 or 4 detectors
  • Up to 5 kHz continuous sampling rate
  • Easy-to-use web-based interface
  • Optional FIP-400B fibre inspection probe
  • IVI compliant drivers for automated test systems

Combining the FTB-1750 power meter module with the new LTB-1 platform, the LTK-1 delivers a high-performance benchtop power meter solution to the lab engineer, or the production manager looking for a small, cost-effective easily automated solution.

EXFO designed the LTK-1 for performance, giving it an 85 dB range, fast stabilisation times, and the ability to simultaneously measure high and low signals on up to four channels. This new power meter kit is the only one on the market to offer touchscreen display and optional industry-leading FIP-400B inspection probe.

The LTB-1 platform is Windows-based, and offers maximum efficiency and flexibility through its Ethernet remote control port and powerful processor. It comes with a web-based user interface and powerful remote control capabilities via built-in Ethernet port and IVI compliant instrument drivers.

In-house instrument verification from EXFO

EXFO has launched the TKS-CAL Optical Calibration Kit to provide in-house instrument verification, putting users in control of all their calibration operations.
